Just a short post to apologize for the delay in the last four posts. I have been without internet for a few days, but have been blogging (and will continue to blog, insha'alah) about my activities in the meanwhile. Sorry to overwhelm anyone with the sudden inundation of posts.

Not to worry, you're not the only one inundating me with reading at the moment. I'm glad your relationship with your family has improved and seems to be going well; I'm impressed with your efforts to mix with them and not hide in your room (which sounds tempting to me). I hope always trying to speak and understand Arabic isn't too tiring and that you will continue to have time to write.
I agree with Emily; I probably would be hiding. I'm very proud of you for making such an effort. The experience you gain will much so much greater this way.
Also, I had a dream last night that you came back to Sewanee for a visit. I gave you a hug and you said Jordan was different from what you'd imagined but that you were going to be fine. I took it as a good sign.
